Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign up or sign in, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one) and profile picture. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from that provider.

Profile and guide information. If you apply to become a guide or author, we collect the details you submit, such as your biography, areas of expertise, languages, experience and certifications.

Content you upload. Guides and authors may upload audio, images and descriptions.

Usage information. We record how you use Osadho — for example the sessions you play, like or save to your library — and technical data such as device type, browser, IP address and approximate location.

Guest visitors. If you use Osadho without an account, we assign a random guest identifier stored in a cookie so we can remember your activity and merge it into your account if you sign up later.

Payments. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card or bank details; we receive confirmation of the payment and limited transaction details.

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To provide our audio sessions, coaching, courses and other services, and to personalise recommendations.
• To review guide and author applications and publish approved content.
• To process payments and send receipts.
• To send service emails such as sign-in codes and important account notices.
• To understand how Osadho is used, fix problems and improve the service.
• To prevent fraud and abuse and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run Osadho, under agreements that limit how they may use it:

• Clerk — account sign-up, sign-in and session management.
• Google and Facebook — only if you choose to sign in with them.
• DigitalOcean — storage and delivery of audio and images.
• Our hosting providers — servers and databases that run the service.
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Email delivery providers — sending sign-in codes and service emails.
• Analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) — if enabled, to measure how the site is used.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Osadho, our users or others.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember guest activity, and — where enabled — measure site usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but parts of Osadho may not work without them.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information unless we must keep it by law.

We protect your information with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted database connections and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent where we rely on it. You can update most profile details in your account.

To make a request, email web.osadho@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

Osadho is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and notify you of significant changes.
